The KA7500B is a versatile PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) controller IC, widely used in switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), DC-DC converters, and other power regulation circuits. Originally developed by Fairchild Semiconductor (now part of ON Semiconductor), it integrates all the essential control circuitry for regulating power efficiently and reliably. Its internal architecture includes dual error amplifiers, a 5V reference, an oscillator, and output transistors—making it a self-contained solution for both push-pull and single-ended power topologies.
