Description:

  • The MC3479P stepper motor driver is designed to work with two-phase stepper motors.
  • Operational Modes: Allows for full-step and half-step operations. The direction can be changed using the CW/CCW input1.
  • TTL/CMOS compatible inputs.
  • Output Drive Capability: Can drive up to 350 mA per coil.
  • Single Supply Operation: Uses a single supply voltage range of 7.2V to 16.5V.
  • Integrated clamp diodes: Clamp diodes are included to decrease back EMF.
  • Hysteresis Input: At least 400 mV input hysteresis.
  • Phase Logic: Can be set to Phase A with an open-collector output to signify Phase A driving status.
  • Package Type: 16-pin Dual In-line Package (PDIP).
  • Operating temperatures range from 0°C to +70°C.
