Description:
- The MLX90316 is a Tria⊗is® Rotary Position Sensor that measures the absolute angular position of a tiny dipole magnet revolving above the device surface (end-of shaft magnet).
- The monolithic device measures the horizontal component of the applied magnetics flux density in a contactless manner using an Integrated Magneto-Concentrator (IMC) on its surface.
- When this unique sensing approach is applied to a rotary position sensor, the angular position becomes impressively resilient despite mechanical (airgap, off-axis) tolerances.
