SW520 Ball Switch
Description:
- To prevent short circuits, the brass housing of the SW-520D Roller Ball Tilt Switch is encased with shrink tubing.
- The mass acts as a throw switch by rolling onto the poles and shorting them when the sensor is orientated with the leads facing downward.
- Roller ball tilt switches are a simple way to detect motion or orientation, but they are not as accurate or adaptable as a full accelerometer.
